Apparently an untended blog grows weeds. TypePad's awful software can't filter out even the most obvious spam, so my fallow comment areas have been getting hit with dozens of bogus comments daily. I've been deleting them and closing comments on older posts, but I'm pretty heavy handed. On one particularly bad day I deleted several old comments by valid human readers, so I apologize for that. There's no way to get them back as far as I know.
So if a comment of yours goes missing, know that it was an accident and you should re-post it. Also, don't call yourself "cheap louboutin shoes".
While weeding I came across this 2005 post that I forgot about, wherein I lay out Sam Harris' case better in a few hundred words than he did in an entire book published 5 years later. It's ever been an important and interesting topic, and I hope to get back to it.
